• Tank Level Control - We offer several technologies for measuring level in fillers, batch tanks, hold tanks, etc.  Technologies used might be Radar, Ultrasonic, dP, and Hydrostatic for example.  The value we have is that not all applications are the same; we have experience in helping you select the level instrument that will work best for your application requirements.
• Product Flow Monitoring - George E. Booth Co., Inc. is experienced in measuring flow off of heat exchangers, out of or into batch and mix tanks, recirculation lines, filling heads,  etc..  Applications can very from water to highly viscous and abrasive fluids.  Technologies applied can vary from rotometers, purgemeters, mass meters, vortex meters, magnetic flow meters, ultrasonic flow meters, dP transmitters and orifice plates.  Most notable has been our ability to provide meters that will provide the following for your process.
  • In-line cleaning is simplified by fully drainable measuring tubes, ensuring process safety.
  • Space saving and compact design simplifies installation.
  • Low installation cost of Mass Flow meters “With Endress + Hauser’s Promass, we don’t need external supports” like many other manufacturers.
  • We can measure and output mass flow, density, temperature, % solids, volumetric flow, % alcohol, Brix, Braume to name a few.
  • We can measure conductive or non-conductive fluids as well as steam and gases.
• Line and Tank Pressure Monitoring - We have experience from pressure monitoring of homogenizers, evaporators, to just simply standard line pressure applications.  You should also know that we offer the Endress + Hauser hydrostatic level transmitter with both the Anderson short and long connection.  The Endress + Hauser DB50 will not drift during CIP and after in this configuration due to the superior design of their transmitter.
• CIP, Wash Water, and Sanitizer Monitoring -  We have been successful in monitoring the conductivity of caustic and acid in order to optimize CIP cleaning.  This minimizes the use of CIP chemicals, energy and faster batch intervals due to fast and accurate control. We can ensure accurate measurement during rapid temperature changes in process.
